Students will be able to properly install and start up Daikin 2 Wire SkyAir Key systems using preferred servicing equipment and procedures.

Objectives:

  • Learner will be able to describe how to properly install the Daikin SkyAir refrigerant piping.

  • Learner will be able to accurately describe the Daikin SkyAir components’ technology and benefits.

  • Learner will be able to correctly install and start up a SkyAir system according to manufacturer’s requirements. Learner will be able to successfully demonstrate the set up and operation of Daikin’s SkyAir Remote Controllers.

This course covers how to properly configure and commission the Daikin line of remote controllers, determine proper applications of the Daikin DIII-Net System Control as well as how to properly access, configure and commission the outdoor unit field settings Modes 1 and 2. Pre-commissioning and System Commissioning Steps will be covered as well as the proper usage of the software for proper commissioning of the Daikin VRV IV X and Emerion Systems.
